NSP's Nicole Seah....

Yep, without a doubt, she is better than any of the 24 PAP's select....

Nicole Seah speaks clearly and confidently. She has my vote, even though she is young.

'Young' is probably just an excuse. Tin Pei Ling comes across as incompetent or too immatured. And there many of us who wonder if she was shortlisted because of her husband's connections.

Hahaha, maybe Nicole must have learnt from PAP's Tin on what to say and what not to say.

Her video was recorded after Tin's video, right?

So maybe lesson is, sometimes it is good never be the first to speak and record.

tsk tsk. She is prettier than me! :(

Hahaha, learnt from PAP's Tin?? Dont think there is anything to learn from PAP's Tin except for marrying a rich pap guy & get him to buy you a Kate Spade bag!!! If you have seen her earlier video you will realise she is very confident speaker, articulate & doesnt read from script like a robot. Hope she is given a chance to represent the aspirations of the young in this country coz she is an asset.

Goh must be thinking... why why Tin is in his team... only know how to stomp the ground and cannot even hold herself without Goh help...i will never vote Tin for being piggyback on grc system... ability and credibility zero...

Lucky can pls help highlight the desperate need for more volunteers by showing this video on the blog?

So that ppl can be the change they want to see

It would be a lot more fun -- and more importantly useful -- to have Nicole speaking up and challenge PAP in the parliament than that immature/incompetent Yes-woman called Pei Ling! Additionally that woody Goh should go as well. He has nothing to do and just sucking away million$$$$ from tax payers every year!

Anonymous said...

PAP said yesterday that there will be no GST increase for the next five years. There you have it; the power of opposition is already felt before they even get into the parliament. Without the challenges from the opposition, PAP will just do whatever they like to make their pay cheque even FATTER!

The quality of life has dropped significantly within the last two terms. We need strong alternative voices and views to prevent PAP from ruining the country for their selfish end!

I believe in retribution, eventually, if one did something wrong.

I also believe in blessing and reward, if one did something right.

And nothing can stop retribution or blessing. If it needs to happen, it will happen.

I believe:

Capable people who are genuinely concerned about the well being of Singapore and Singaporeans are likely to join the opposition.

People who join PAP are likely to be Yes-men who go after the money and glory!

I used to have full of respects when I see the MIW's.

Now I feel disgusted seeing any of them!

Anonymous said...

To Anon 21:59, why do you feel disgusted now when before you supported them. Its always v interesting to analyse the psyche of those who supported the PAP before to find out what was the turning point or event that causes you to dislike them now....

-LET US WITHDRAW CPF NOW-

breaking news
////
China's foreign exchange reserves increased...to 3.04 trillion U.S. dollars by the end of March.

Xia Bin, a member of the monetary policy committee of the central bank, said on Tuesday that 1 trillion U.S. dollars would be sufficient......
////

Once China dump USD, our FX will vaporize, and there goes our CPF.

FUCK PAP, even the corrupt Chinese COMMIE has better sense than you.

You have been licking the arse of USA for too long.

All in good time, I see the first Lady PM of Singapore. Nice to know we have such real, convicted talent ready to take it all on. Seriously she alone could stand against the PAP team and she will still get my vote!!

Amused said...

Look no further! It looks like you have a future PM material right here.

Ms Seah, I wish you the best.

She appears to be sincere and transparent. What is there not to be when at this point in time it is about her community work?
But a politician is a two headed snake job. Being poise and good at your day job do not necessarily make good politician - even if you are a lawyer.
In any case, I think if the system of governance changes, she may have to find another role in society.
But she has a very good start obviously.

Hey, Lucky Tan,

you might want to write about how enbloc cause more problem as in case of clementi, and how some complain that the new flats are smaller and that they have to fork out $100,000 extra for the same room of flat.

"
MoonMoon Child Commented by ----- Eddie Chin ------- (AGAINST THE MP)1 in 10 were unhappy? I think he failed his maths. I live in block 323. There's a petition of 220 signatures submitted to him enmass, on top of other individuals who seek him regarding this matter.

220 out of 374 units....1 in 10? That's more than half the residents already!!!
"

Anonymous said...

Is Clementi under West Coast GRC?

Therefore there must be couple of tens of thousands of voters.

Assume 5 voters per unit. 220 units = only 1100 voters. And that's on the high side.

What's the problem? At most they will be just part of 40% of anti PAP voters.

Comparing her with Tin Tin is an insult...

Tin Tin simply was reckless in her answer about greatest regret and childish if watch she stomping her feet.... I will be ashamed if she is elected as Singapore's MP.

Nicole is even better than MBT, the Bishan-Toa Payoh's MP, KBW,....

No pretence
No airs
No ego

Plenty sincerity
Plenty humility

Nicole, you have the gift
The gift to connect to ordinary people.
This gift can be used for many purposes

Use it well.

the day will come when we shall rid of all snakes. no snakes, no idiotic ppl because they are now forced to grow up and take on new roles. we may even create more jobs in the new and living way.

In addition to my comment @ 25/4/11 09:42, joining opp is totally diff join PAP.

Tin Tin got no guts even to run in SMC, not to say opp.

Anonymous said...

At 24, I am really impressed by the way she face the camera, her maturity and confidence. This gal has the charisma to be the PM of Singapore one day! May God be with you all the way Nicole.

MBT, you disappoint us when you can't come up with stronger rebuttals against those who attack your policies.

Wake up your idea. You are a highly paid minister and we expect more from you.

at least she is sincere and not so and so wife. not like that ho and tin who get to where they are not based on their own merits. meritocracy to pap has very different meaning from the mainstream.

Anonymous said...

Wait..the old man hasn cum out to crush these cockroaches. We havn got our ticket worth yet. L

For the first time, it seems that the Opp are having more quality people than the PAP (I am referring to the new faces.

I can feel CHANGE is in the air.

Lets use our vote to make CHANGE a reality.

Nicole can be a very good role model for our youths.

We need more passionate youngsters like her.

Now at least I can feel hope for our country.

Anonymous said...

not to put our dear Nicole down, but a 21 year old corporal in some angmoh country can speaks much better and more precisely than our general. so when one like Nicole comes along, we are like... very impress. it goes to show probably 8 or 9 out of 10 candidates so far don't make the cut in the speech department. that ahem, speaks,a lot about spore. if left to speaking ability, that kind of talent is a drop in the ocean in these places. but substance ,that's a totally different ball game.

I am more concern of the 9 out of 10 who want to represent the nation. sssss...

Anonymous said...

Power to the masses? The masses have decisions thrusted on them for 5 years and then on one single day(out of 5), they are allowed to exercise their withered brain cells to tick some boxes on a piece of paper. You called that "power to the masses"? Even monkeys can tick boxes.

Moral of the story: when you leave your brains to children, be prepared to have your brain turn into jello.

End of PARTY POLITICS in SIN.

NEXT...and let the REAL GAME begin.

Anonymous said...

Nicole, I have this feeling that you are the anointed one. You are a beacon of light and hope. Many will be drawn to your wisdom and that wisdom will bring about a better tomorrow; a happier tomorrow for all Singaporeans - young and old.

Anonymous said...

we know who are the good men in SIN. we need to reposition them to...catch the winds.

My prediction for opposition
Sure win
Hougang WP (if Low TK remains)

Best chances
Aljunied GRC (WP)
Holland Bukit Timah GRC (SDP)
1 SMC (if WP Chen Show Mao goes there)

The rest no hope lah.

PAP will get about 55% - 60% of the overall votes and between 75 (worst case) to 86 seats (best case).

So PAP will still have much more than 2/3 majority of seats.

So most likely more of the same for the next 5 years until opposition, as Chiam said, is ready to form the government.

After all the excitement and hooha, quite boring, isn't it?

Yo Yo Yo...May Vincent be our new PM

GMS the next MM via short cut

and CHEE our hokkien speaking FM

I met Nicole several times last year and she struck me as a highly intelligent and compassionate young woman who was not afraid to speak her mind. Though she might not have been very experienced, she was really willing to listen to everyone. She showed a quick wit and had a good grasp in understanding politics.

I was so surprised to learn that she was from a much wealthier family as her demeanour passed her off as another ordinary Singaporean. That's right! She didn't carry any airs nor did she act like anyone owed her anything. She might have been well-educated but at no time, did she use her status to bully, annoy or even to taunt others.

CPF can see cannot touch.
at list they allow us to withdraw maybe 5-10k,2 chances for every singaporean when there is a need to overcome the hard time.at list we feel more secure on our cpf .in this way no one will complain about it,at list we hv some say on our hard earn money.anyway if they got this intention to help us,no futher comment will be make, but if they got no intention to help us…alot of excuses will be make.cannot blame, they think and plan too much untill we hv no say.even WFB…u hv to top M/S for those selfempoly..many people dont hv the some to top up…go borrow??…want give just give…why plan so much??dont lets us withdraw from cpf and borrow from other sourse…end up life is getting worse and worse,at list u give us a chance to do so,if repeat again, then that is our own problem.they didnt know there are people ready need and find no way.we dont expect our gov to help in all mean.we must plan but dont over plan,we dont know what will happen tommor…
